Material Description
Centrifugal pumps operate by converting rotational kinetic energy from an impeller into fluid velocity, creating centrifugal force that propels the fluid through the pump. They consist of a rotating impeller within a casing or volute, where the fluid enters the pump at the center of the impeller (the eye) and is discharged at the outer periphery. Types include Single-Stage Centrifugal Pumps, Multi-Stage Centrifugal Pumps, Vertical Centrifugal Pumps, Horizontal Centrifugal Pumps, Axial Flow Centrifugal Pumps.
